Nasty BN7 Sells for $75k

That's funny. I just switched to Hagerty from Farmers and when I told them my "agreed value" with Farmers, Hagerty said I was under valuing it even as a conversion.

I saw that car at the All British Field Meet in Portland several years ago. It was/is really well done, and it appears to have been taken good care of, too. I think the owner made a good choice in auctioning it. He certainly got a good price, all things considered.

A really nice looking car that does look well done. I agree it seems like a lot of money but its good to see a strong market for a car like this.

Looks very nice. Are the flared wheel arches really necessary? To my mind they really detract from the car's aesthetic quality. Wonder what an unmolested BN7 in comparable condition would fetch?

nice car but other than outside appearance nothing spectacular. engine compartment okay but a dangling chrome fuel filter???the flares do not work for me at all. and there are no interior pics?? i know it is a 62 bn7 but to convert to original with 75 grand invested does not make sense to me! ive been watching nasty healeys for a long time and this is by far the biggest sold price i have seen other than a very nice 55 bn1 sold a year or so ago for around 50 grand! maybe if we hold them long enough we might recoup most of our expense to convert!
