Dahubby may be heading to Nashville the end of April. My brother-in-law is going TDY and told Chuck to come along, bring the boat and they'd do some fishing.

Anyone know anything about fishing around Nashville? I know Lake Cumberland is a couple (I think) hours away, but anything closer?

Percy Priest Lake is on the eastern edge of Nashville. Farther east is Center Hill and Dale Hollow Lakes. Over here near Clarksville is Land Between the Lakes - Kentucky and Barkley - great fishing. Also, Old Hickory Lake.... Plenty to choose from.

If they need someone to keep 'em out of trouble /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif, I'm always available to keep the hooks wet...

I imagine Ron will be in meetings most the days. I think it's the 30th through the 2nd or something like that. How far is Clarksville, hour and a half or so?

Depending on what part of Nashville, 45 minutes to an hour.

We can touch base in N.O. and I can fill Chuck in on my TREMENDOUS knowledge base of bass'n! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Seriously, I have fished Center Hill and a couple of the smaller lakes. Have a very good friend who retired a while back, and all he does is fish. He and I used to go together when I was in McMinnville, where he lives. Haven't had the chance to fish with him since coming here.
