A friend of mine helped his friend prepare a Met for a journey. The Met was pretty complete to start with, so it was a case of getting the goo out of the gas tack and fuel lines, replacing hydraulic washers, tracing the short in the headlights. The usual stuff when the car sits too long. The owner drove the far around the Phoenix area then off to the Denver area from Phoenix. The guy and his wife had a great time toodling along at fifty miles per hour, enjoying the scenery. Just a bit of carb adjustment as they got to northern New Mexico. Wasn't based on an Austin of some kind?
