I was puttering around on flickr and saw this car - I would assume that it is a concept car on display....

First thing that caught my eye was how much it reminds me of a TR3... sloped back - curvy details around the wheels - high barn-door front..

Whaddaya think? anyone know what car this is?

From the rear tailights; It kind of looks like a "Honda S2000" concept car???????????

I believe that is the rather short-lived DeTomaso roadster that came out in the late-1990's, that I think became the Qvale roadster?

If it wasn't for the red tail lights, it'd be hard to tell which end was which!

I think the DeTomaso answer may me right, but it also looks like a chopped-top Lambo Countache too!

It's a car I cannot afford.

That is exactly the problem. It was late, I had my contacts out and my crappy old glasses on..... I could have sworn that the front of the car was facing camera left. Imagine the windshield swapped fore to aft.... then it kinda looks like a TR3.

a fresh view now clearly shows the front end pointing to the right.

oops

Well be sure to write them saying they're wrong. :jester: Cliff took a picture of one (kinda) at cars and coffee yesterday. There on the right.

Well, at least I was close, right lineage anyway!!

Good one Steve, but shouldn't it have been Roberto? :jester:

What you can't tell from the photo is that there was a black one the other side of the rotunda (don't remember if it was a spider - might even have been a Murcie, I was more interested in making the train). They had them in there for a few days for some promo or other.
