Did the 3 in Psycho have wires and whitewalls?

My memory is not that good. Are you going to make me buy the DVD?

How about the TR3 in Diner with Jeff Goldblume & Kevin Bacon?

That belonged to John Lye. Don't know if he still has it.

Two movies,

easy,

"We had everything anyone could want in life, $300 and a black TR3."
Can't remember the year of the TR3

hard, then again maybe not with this varied group.

"If the ring gear is missing some teeth or is misaligned on the flywheel then the worm gear cannot mesh with it to bring the engine to life." Or something like that.

Snow, the one about that coke dealer. But you have to say that line with a thick Boston accent. Didn't say the year of the '3, and it's never seen.

Actually they did briefly show it as he was on his way to California (uncut version). You have the plot correct but the name of the movie is "Blow" 2001 starring Johnny Depp.

Any takers on the other? White TR3 - setting is south of the Mason Dixon Line. Religious overtones.

Snow, Blow, not bad for someone like me with a bramaged dain.

I know I've heard the line about the ring gear in a movie, just can't place it. Are you extending the Mason-Dixon Line to the west across the U.S.?

I started to watch the one with the White TR3. It was so impressive that I forgot the name of the movie.

It didn't feature the car much unless it was in the second half of the film, which i was asleep for.

"Flywheel"

I rented and watched it specifically because the TR3 was featured on the front illustration of the DVD case.

The Heartbreak Kid from about 1972 features a TR250. He and his wife drive one from New York to Miami. There is even a scene looking out from the passengers side, on the hood bulge. No racing or performance scenes though.

It is a white car, with a black stripe, and tan interior. I have never seen a 250 with this color combo. It has unusual rims too.

Its an odd romance movie you can even watch with your wife.
