Pretty sure its Goldfinger - or one of the other Sean Connery "Bond" movies. I believe the picture is one of Goldfinger's henchmen driving a Herald! I should know - how many times have I seen that movie!!!

Rob.

THUNDERBALL (1965)

This is a pic of one of Largo's henchmen driving back to tell him that he got caught in Bond's hotel room. Largo throws him to the sharks in his swimming pool as a reward.

The good guys helping Bond in Thunderball drive Morris Minors!!! Is that a statement or what?

Dough! New it was one of the early Bond movies - but got the wrong one. Guess I'll have to watch it again.

Good eye, Cinneagh.

Now who can name a Hitchcock film in which a TR3 makes a cameo?

The Birds?

Or was he driving an MGA out of the garage at the end of the movie?

Might have been a Healey....

Good try, but nope, it wasn't a TR3.

I think that was a Facel Vega. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

In "The Birds" I thought it was an early Aston - DB2 perhaps?

There were a number of Brit cars in "Vertigo" - including a big old MkVII Jag I think. Don't recall a TR3, but could be wrong...

There is also an Evis movie that has a TR3 cameo - can anyone name that movie?

John, I give up on the Hitch film.

TR3--Viva Las Vegas

There is also a TR4. : )

Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk I--The Birds

Thanks for The Birds. Er, that didn't come out right.

There's a TR4 posing as a Ferrari in the water in Elvis' movie Spin-out.

Hichcock hint: What kind of person would have a TR3? Now I gave it away.

Well based on the clue two Hitchcock movies spring to mind-

"Psycho"

or

"The Man Who Knew Too Much"????

Correct! How is that for a fitting title!

Maybe "cameo" is incorrect; "fleeting glimpse" would be a better descriptio. It's when Janet Leigh (sp?) is buying a car. A TR3 passes by on the highway.

Anyone seen the Triumph in "Last Tango in Paris" ?

Humm - when you say "Triumph", you are referring to a car correct? Otherwise we could have some quite intresting responses.
