Hey all,

I just found this place and figured it was a one-stop shop for all things British so it seemed worthwhile. I remember way back our family had an old TR3 that we'd fire up every summer and take into town. Wish we still had it.

I am looking to get my next toy to play with and I have no idea where to start - but I do know that a few British cars interest me so I am here to learn more. I am leaning towards Triumph at this point, but that could change.

I went so far as to set up a web page that crawls classified and auction sites (even every single craigslist!) for the types of cars I'm interested in. You may find it useful as well:

Welcome!

You'll find this a great place to chat about British cars, and not a few opinions on which one is best!

Nice job on the classified mix.

Welcome

Hi There jaXed;

What does that stand for by the way?

Welcome to one of the most Informative, Friendly and Knowledgable People on this planet & perhaps other planets for Brit Car Info:

I`ve had virtually every conceivable Brit Car you can think of (My All time favorite is an "E-Type Series I or II Rdstr): I`ve always revered back to a Triumph of one sort or another! Style, Speed, Ease of Maintenance, Part Accessability, Increasing Value; Make a "Triumph" an Excellent Buy:

What cond car are you searching for? Project/Daily Driver/Trailer Queen?

Regards from the Pocono Mtns of PA;

Russ

That is great work on the web site - I think it would be very useful for most Forum members. Good luck on the car search, I am partial to TR Triumphs, but they are all great fun cars.

Welcome to the collective predilection, jaXed!

This would *MGB* be just my *MGB* humble opinion y'see, *MGB* but for both *MGB* the fun-per-dollar and *MGB* reliability an MGB is a VERY stout *MGB* and comfortable car. Parts *MGB* are readily available, the *MGB* things are built like *MGB* little tanks.

Hope my SUBTLE nudge finds your subconscious receptive. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

It doesn't really stand for anything... just an alias.

I'd want at least a driver - something that runs that I can fix and tweak as I go along.
