You know who you are...

And anyone else able to make it.

We're going to meet on Sunday at 3PM at the Triple XXX Root Beer Drive-In in Issaquah.
I know a lot of you live too far away to even think about it but I wanted to get this out there for anyone who can come.

The idea is to get together again before BillM. moves to sunny Southern California.

There is an Italian car show that day at the Triple XXX which is supposed to end at 3.
Come early if you want to see the cars.

The Triple XXX is an old style 1950's Drive-In that hosts car shows on the weekends.

Address:
98 N.E. Gilman Blvd.
Issaquah WA.

Here is their website for anyone curious:

Huh, a XXX Italian car show?!?!?!

First the Abarth commercial and now this! :jester:

"Triple XXX Root Beer Drive-In" yeah, right. Is that slang for something? What kind of show it this?

Best of luck to you, Bill! My car misses y'all......so do I.

Dude, where have you been? I've been wondering where you were.

Bet work has been keeping him busier than a one armed paper hanger.

He got mad at all of us up here and took his toy and left. The problem is he hasn't found any one that will play with him in South Carolina.

Gonna do my best to make it..

I have a flywheel for you Bill.
I will do my best to remember to bring it.

Yeah, work has been crazy. All the family wants to visit and stay for a LOOONG time every time. Kids have sports and activities and time just gets away. It's been fantastic out here. I was driving the Midget quite often, then got sick of the crappy exhaust. Two weeks ago, I was on the way to the muffler shop and the brakes went out. I think it's the master cylinder. It's been in the garage on jack stands ever since. Pretty sad. I'll get to it soon now that the relatives are gone. There are very few MG drivers out here. Nothing I can do to generate an event like you guys in the NW. I have a coworker that races and he and I get together to wrench on the cars. I'll be back on the road soon.

If you haven't done any of it, I'd strongly suggest doing all of it. The brake hydraulics that is.

Y'all in the NW have all the fun.
I may have to come to Eugene to celebrate the Ducks national championship next January. ;o}
That's if they aren't too high to play next season

Phil

Flywheel? I need a Flywheel? I had no idea mine had worn out. !? That's pretty good diagnostics.

See ya there.

Home again, Home again...

it was nice to have a chance to say Good-Bye to Bill M. as he moves on to another chapter in his life. We in Pacific Northwest will greatly miss his knowledge, charm and giving/helping attitude/assistance. It is with a heavy heart that we see him leave.

He said he could come back to assist IF we paid his airfare. That would be a bargain if we all chipped in $50 to get him here for a weekend. ..

I hope I have another chance to see ya, Bill.

The get-together was GREAT! (even if I did have to drive a Buick to get there).
Thanks everyone for a fun time and a great last several years. I figure that I will get back up here from time to time (kids in the area, etc) so maybe we can get together again.
Keep up the NOSHIX's and help each other out as best you can and pay it forward as much as you can.
You have all been GREAT!
Thanks
BillM

When Cathie finally lets you retire you need to come back here to the midwest as well, Bill. When you do I'll show you the sites you guys missed last time you were here. That goes for the rest of the Northwest Contingent as well!

Kurt.

We had a great time, my son Peter and my youngest daughter Bekah came along with my wife and we all (about 19 souls by my count) seemed to have a lot of fun.

Nearly the end of the time we noticed a Red Sprite parked over yonder and then a bit later I saw there were a couple inside and it looked like they were getting ready to leave.
I hurried over and asked and it turned out they were there for the 'event' but apparently didn't recognize any of us. Eventually everyone who was still there wondered over and met up with ReddSprite and his lovely navigator.
They had seen the post here and decided to drive on up to meet us!

It was nice to see everyone, and wish BillM a great move and all and that was a great way to do it!
