First, on my tonneau cover that i have used before, there are two flaps with snaps on them in front of the bulged out places for the head rests. Second there are snaps at the top and bottom of the inside of the windshield frame, what are these for?
 
never figured out what those snaps by the seat head rest are for, but the top w/s pillar snaps are for the convertible top. (There should be two small flaps with female ends on the top in this spot and the lower ones should be for the tonneau cover. (front corners)
 
Flaps w/snaps on the tonneau should align with snaps on the edge of the body right behind the seats so that, when the tonneau is folded over, you can snap it to them & keep it taut.
 
Those flap snaps are to fasten the tonneau to the snaps on the rear bulkhead when the tonneau is folded behind the seats. Many cars never had the floor snaps installed. I think only one of mine has them.

I totally agree with Jeff and Tony, when snapped down behind the seats they will keep the tonneau from flapping around and also keep it nice and taut. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif
