Mystery Parts found in intake. What are they?

Got an infraction for my comments. oops .

Let's try this again. Kurt Tanner was the previous owner and the one that restored the car. I'll leave it at that. Sorry if i offended anyone. I was just stating the truth of the matter.

The spring does not look long enough for the oil pressure relief valve, Keoke is near the mark with a timing chain tensioner. Keep it all safe, you may find out where it is missing from one day. One thing is for sure, it must have been placed there or fallen in 'cause it is not from a carb.

Bob

Only problem with that is I did not remove the timing chain cover. the only parts i removed from the engine were the oil pressure line, coolant temp sensor, carb filters, carburetor, intake and exhaust manifold. The engine is being completely inspected, so hopefully there isn't anything in the cylinders. If there is, then the good news is the car hasn't been started since the disassembly began.
