any of you guys recognise this ignition switch ?

it is out of my jensen interceptor 1971 series2 and therefore is supposed to be as per jaguar which i guess should be lucas.

the local jag parts dealer did not recognise it so now i'm stuck.

any have any ideas ?

you mean there is a jensen forum ?

yeh, i didn't think it was a jag although someone in the jensen club is still insisting it is.

suggestions are :
hillman hunter lucas #39415
rover 1973 lucas #39412 (seems a bit of a long shot as my car was made in 1971)

might try a post on the hillman & rover forums.

Looks like a Series 1 XJ6 switch or MK III GT6, GT6 is small XJ6 larger.

have written to the people who run the site as there is a fault with trying to register with it if you have an address outside the US.
typical americans. it appears that if you enter a country other than USA they still expect you to be within one of the 49 states ???? weird.

to tell the truth, i am dubious about a 'second hand' switch, but we'll see.
