Mystery Healey?

A fair number of us on the MG forum are looking at this red car (below) posted by Paul161.

To me it looks like it has a Healey-Elliot or Healey-Westland grill, (the cars with the Riley engines)
but the rest of the car is unfamilar.
I'm not even sure if it's a Healey.

Anyone recognise it?

You can see our discussion of this car ~HERE~.

It is a Healey of the Westland Elliot vintage. There were a few that were custom bodied by Tickford and others. I have seen photo's of this car or ones like it in "The Healey" book by Bill Emerson and will look it up later when I get home.

This is the Healey Sportsmobile. Pictured on page 36 in Browning & Needham's "Healeys & Austin-Healeys" (Foulis, 1970.

Yup Sportsmobile 25 made. 23 recorded plus 2 that were recorded later.
