The front (left of picture) of the crank is threaded on the outside.

Hmmm. looks kinda Triumphy.. but it's been a long time since I've seen a crank outta one of the TR 4 bangers.... I'm probably wrong... I'll go wander over there now.......... Ooh! Rutbagas! Hey Doc!

Any info would be a great help.

3-main bearing, 4-cylinder.

Did your 'mystery head' come off the block it was in?

I can't see the pix!!

I been junkin' with 'clickjacking' blockers.

My paranoia has blinded me. :smirk:

Triumph 1296 big bearing. I have one just like it sitting in my shed, only mine says "w2156" on it and has Stanparts clearly cast into it.

Tony, It came from the person but not the same car. I'm either selling it or scrapping it as I have no use for it other than some hobby money. Maybe I should post it over to the Triumph forum.

Listed this over on the Triumph forum. Looks like it is a dead match to a 1500 RB Midget or Spit. I wonder if it is eBayable?
