Checking out a Greenwich repair shop, I saw this in the shop. From the back, I had no idea. From the front, I knew right away. Do you know what it is? Round Hill 1 (2).jpgRound Hill 2.jpgRound Hill 3.jpg

Allard?

What I was thinking, but badge has more lettering.

Ok. More hints. BMW 328 engine. Wayne Carini bought a later one called a Spohn - ugliest car I ever saw. Spoke to the shop owner today. The car owner actually drives this thing on the roads.

"En vino..."

...Veritas. Si, signor. E vero. Nice work. BTW, they're making them again. Check out the latest. Most fearsome looking car I ever saw. Can do over 200 mph.

So it is a pretty Spohn, I remember reading about the World's Ugliest Car when it went to Amelia Island a few years ago. I never would have imagined that this car was produced by the same company.

Piggybacking on my own thread, I saw a car today in Portchester, NY coming towards me. Looked like a new Corvette from the front, but had a much wider low grille, swept-up front and rear fenders and a low beltline. A white convertible. Wife asked "What's that?" and I was stumped. Not a McLaren, a Pagani Huayra, a Koenigsegg, Hennessey, Fisker Karma, Noble, Ferrari or Lamborghini. Anyone have any ideas?
