Mystery Bumpers

Does anyone recognize these bumpers? They came with my project TR3, but obviously are not TR bumpers.

Randall,

I'm usually really good with these identity questions, but you've stumped me on this one.

Do the vertical pieces fit on the horizontal units to act as guards of sorts?

I second the XK 120 answer.

If you can find the rest of the car let me know.

Brilliant! They may pay for a lot of your project Randall!

Wow, thanks for the photo link, Art. Sure looks like them to me!

Thanks also to Poolboy and Jesse.

It looks like the mystery is solved. I did see a GT6 for sale on C-List or eBay recently that featured the "rare split bumper" on the rear, but I don't really recall exactly what it looked like. It looks like yours match the XK120 though.

Jeez, the mystery bumpers that were in my project TR3 turned out to be from a lowly Beetle. Strangely enough, I, too, posted a pic of my mystery item, and another sharp-eyed BCFer solved that one, too! You guys are all too cool!
