my trusted 100-4 Healey died.

Dave:
You answered my question ...... OD and fuel pump are not fused, but that generates another question. Why?

Thanks Greg.
These ideas sound like something even I can deal with. I'll start with these and go from there.

I dunno. The cars were originally made to sell for something under $3,000 USD. Maybe it would have put them over budget. Or maybe they just thought it wasn't needed. Or maybe they just forgot - like they apparently forgot to leave a place underneath for the exhaust system, which was obviously an after thought.

Thanks Dave:
I rather suspected that that might be a question that couldn't be answered.
Thanks again for all your good advice. I appreciate your help.
Tom

My ’67 came without those fuses also. That’s some kinda forgetful, over a decade. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Well that's not a response that I was expecting, but it is another option. I just have to find a priest who is into British cars.
Thanks

Naw Tom, the Priests out here on the West Coast don't care where the car came from they bless them all.---Keoke-- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/yesnod.gif
-- keoke, "blessing" by priest does not help! fur deez cars ya godda find one what does "ex-her-sizz-ems" /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Ok...I had this EXACT thing happen in my Mini....was driving and suddenly no fuel guage, no signal lights, no wipers.....got where I was going, was able to turn off the car and restart but still no guages, etc. Everything else worked.....was very perplexing. Long story short is that the fuse holder had released the fuse somehow and so ta-da was able to correct it.....check your fuse block, especially the fuse holder clips.....
