Drove my TR6 to Starbucks this morning. I was sitting outside enjoying my brew. Some lady parks next to my 6 and as she passes me she says <span style="font-style: italic">"That is a nice Mercedes"</span>.
I said "Thanks" and finished my coffee.
Guess it's worth a whole lot more now. :smile:
 
Shoulda asked if she wanted to buy it. hehehe
 
I dunno. Had to work on too many Mersaydees in my time...and know too many folks with $1500 "service" bills...I think a Trumpet is worth more. How many Mersaydees of the same vintage as your Trumpet are still on the road?

Anyone can own a Mercedes. Owning a Triumph TR is a passion only few can attain. Say the word "TRIUMPH". Has meaning in it,doesnt it? One should not be offended due to ignorance.
 
And I had a 219...once.
The question is how many? Onesies and twosies.....they'll show up from time to time.
 
Diesela has been a very good girl for us so far. Not quite in the Quarter-million club yet but I have high hopes. :wink:
