Hi

Im new here and from Ireland - I have a 1975 TR6 (its a UK model - originally a London car it was restored in the early 90's and was originally blue - but now its red (my favourite car colour - all my classics are red /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif)
I have no complaints about it as its going fine. Although could someone do something about the weather as I have not been able to drive it (never take it out in the wet)a lot recently. Today I took it for a spin - first in nearly a month (started 3rd turn of the key - who said BL cars were unreliable) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
So just really saying hello and will post pics of it here (after I wash it) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Welcome aboard! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The weather here has forced me to put my TR6 in storage for a few months. We're supposed to get about 12" of snow today. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif

My Mothers side of our family came to the USA from Ireland a few generations ago. Funny how I prefer these British cars and Dark Beer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Welcome Alfa:
I imigrated to the US from Ireland in the late '50s with my parents. Lived in Kilkenny mostly (but also have many relatives in Cavan). I was back a few years ago and saw NO British sports cars....not a one in 10 days. Seems like they are far more rare in Eire than in the US. It that right?
Anyway, "Fáilte"
....and a nice collection of cars you have there!
