My TR6 [finally]

My name is Peter and I live in Woerden, a small town in the center of The Netherlands. I have always wanted to own a British sports car and last week my dream finally came true. I bought myself a beautiful Royal Blue TR6 (1969). This car was imported from California to The Netherlands in 2008 and is completely original, has no rust, has never been damaged and has never been repainted. As far as I can make out from the papers that came with the car it has had 2 owners in California. I have the original invoice from 1970 and the car was sold for 3,900 US dollars to the first owner. After being imported to The Netherlands the engine and gearbox were overhauled/restored and it now runs on unleaded fuel. There is a hole in the driver seat and the leather softtop is quite stiff and has a few small tears, but these can easily be repaired.

I joined the forum today and have already found a lot of useful topics on the TR6. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with this great car with you.
