As some of you may know, hurricane IKE made a strong prescence in the Houston area. My power came back on Sunday evening. In the meantime, I kept the fridge running with a generator. The gas it used came from my TR6. It will be a while before life is 'normal' around here, but eventually I'll get back to working on the TR3.

Even after 8 days with no power, each time I'd go into the garage, I'd hit the light switch expecting to have light. I'm sure glad to have power again.

Also, my first edition of TRA arrived. Life is good. I saw some newer posts from TR4nut, so I guess he's OK too.

So sorry to hear of your misfortune....
Hope everything gets back to normal soon!

btw: Is your power plant run by Lucas?

GOOD LUCK AND HANG IN THERE,
WE LOST POWER FROM A STORM UP HERE LAST SUMMER FOR TEN DAYS. NO GENERATOR.
COOKING ON THE GRILL GOT OLD.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, TOM

Hey Jerry-

Glad to hear you are back thinking of TRs. We were spared the brunt of it, relatively short power outage, so were very lucky. I think it will take an awfully long time for this area to fully recover, though - you may have seen that our other BCF/local club member Sherman was not in good shape with his house.

Still haven't hauled over all of that TR3a project I bought yet, but I did hear that it survived the wind. If you get snagged on something for your 3a, give me a shout.

Randy
