Well this morning as I stood in the driveway with my cup of coffee, I watched my son hop into his car and make his first solo trip to school. I actually got a tear in my eye as I realized he is becoming a man.

Bittersweet, ain't it?

A lump in your throat,
a tear in your eye..... and the satisfaction that you have molded a good son.

My son goes for his driver's license tomorrow. They do grow up fast!

& are now entering the most dangerous years of their young lives!

's why we didn't HAVE 'em!! :jester:

I dunno if it was all the "experience", but I seem to have raised mine to be smarter than I ever was!!

The most a parent could ever expect. You must have done a good job.

Yep, what we want.

Ross Perot was once asked if he felt successful. When he answered 'yes', the reporter asked him what was his measure & Ross said, <span style="font-style: italic">"My children are educated & have jobs."</span>
