Yes, fairly inappropriate, but as long as it doesn't get out of hand, and speaking as one of the Moderators of this forum, I'm willing to let it remain here for a day or two until most regulars can see it. Good luck. It looks to be a nice car.

Hey Reid, why not shift it to the new free classifieds section too.??---Keoke

Because I sympathize with the seller's desire to reach Healey people, probably very few of whom ever check the ads on BCF.

Well, thats a thought Reid. On the otherhand maybe BAS should put a bigger sign on it Huh.---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif I was just thinking that method would keep his listing visible to BCS people longer.

If you're the woman on the magazine cover I would like to come up to NYC for a personal inspection.

i sympathize with this gentleman,i too have found it necessary to depart with a number of various treasures for a myriad number of reasons, including the occational healey,as a faithful member of our glorious sight i think he deserves a shot here with the sales quip ,we should hope he doesnt leave us,but if he must,be quick to welcome him back.i have a solution-keoke,why dont you just buy it?sorry to hear the bad news, but thell still be a bunch of them around when your ready again, good luck-anthony7777 1963 bj7 3000 M.K.II

thanks for the pass all... and, with regard to the woman on the magazine cover, let's just say that she photographs very well!

Keoke why don't you just buy it?

Good luck with your sale it is a beautiful car. I put our 64 T-bird for sale in a few places (not ebay) and all the weasles came out of the woodwork so I put off trying this. Since then a few storms have kept me busy..........I would like to sell the car still, though. If this is a pleasant experience would you let me know! Randi

I just came across Joe's ebay listing before coming here. I immediately knew it was Joe and couldn't believe that he's leaving us. I've been waiting for Joe to call me so that we could cruise Long Island in our 2 person Healey convoy, bringing shock and delight to all the young women in their Mercedes minivans. Joe, we hardly knew ya.

WOT! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif You sure of that Anthony? Then I bid 20,000 Quid.----Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

a Healey crusing the mean streets of NYC is a rare and wonderful sight, but I can certainly understand why you are selling it. the last time I checked, the cost of a spot in a parking garage was running well over $600 a month. have you considered keeping the car someplace outside the city?? anyway, good luck...nice looking car.
PS - about the magazine cover...part of the reason why any guy buys a Healey is that the car is a chick-magnet.
