Good news! Apparently a long forgotten family member who was of Royal descent. Seems all I have to do is send some money to a fine group of Barristers in Jolly Ol England and I'll get $44 million in inheritance. So what do you guys want me to buy ya'll. :jester:
Do people REALLY fall for this lame attempt at fleecing ?
I bet if I respond Nigeria will somehow be involved.
I swear I'd love to somehow string these blood suckers out for chits and giggles but just sending an e-mail to such creeps
is too much exposure for me to risk.
I've seen this crap before but the English Nobility was a new twist. Made me wonder if they knew I had a LBC. :madder:

I must be a hardass for I have little sympathy for people who actually respond to these foolish letters and then cry when they get taken.
 
Isn't it remarkable how unimaginative crooks are? This scam has been around for years in one form or another, and it's one of the most common on the internet. You'd think that the crooks might try something....uhhhh...NEW? Lucky for us they're so stupid.

I suspect that the real targets of these scams are elderly people, mentally disabled, and so on. A few years ago there was a case here in LA where an old guy's family were trying to get control of his company and assets, since he had given over a million bucks to these scammers. No matter how many people told him it was a scam, he kept sending money, absolutely convinced it was legit.
