Them thar boy dun set th' place on far'!

I can't wait to hear something from their first prison album, "Hard time for Arson".

Well Doc, talented boys but you're definatley more redneck then me. I'm not a big fan of country, however; I do appreciate a young lady dressed like mary Anne/ Daisey Duke.

Not a country fan either, Billy, but these local fellas could get me to pay more attention.

"...late-night comin' back from Ybor City."

Kinda hits a memory or two, y'see.

"From Florida with Love"

Play their DEMO on YTube. Clever lads.

Hey Doc, let me know when cafe cubano and cuban sandwiches become your staple! I miss cafe cubano and the cuban breakfasts.

Anyway, I love all music including Country. I think these young lads have something - just need marketing.

After we were married a few years we hit a Cuban joint for dinner. Kelly ordered Ox tail. I about  when I saw spinal cord starin' back up at me across the table. I couldn't look at her the whole meal. If'fun id'da been the 6th or so date..id'da be OFF!

cafe cubano?

ever tried "Buche"? (not sure on the spelling). It's a rocket fuel hyper espresso. First had it in a Cuban bakery in Key West. Just about made me shoot right out of my flip flops. Dang good stuff.

One of my favorite scenes from The Jeffersons. Mama Jefferson's cooking lesson: "You better scrub that ox tail before you put it in, 'cause you never know where that ox tail's been".

The Columbia in Ybor.... I miss it!

If you get to Sarasota JP there is also a Columbia in St. Armand's Key

Ate lunch at the one in Sarasota about once a week for years.

The one in Ybor does a Sunday "Original Prices" once or twice a year. Prices reduced to an approximation of what they were the year they opened. Lines around the block... I just make up a batch of my own black beans and yellow rice here at th' hovel, thankewverrymuch.

When I'm in Miami I visit pals with an Alfa-centric shop. Just around the corner is a Cuban coffee shop with buche on offer. "Mouthful". woohoo!
