My next featured vehicle is....

I remember those,Steve. The Liverpool tramway system also had "Green Goddesses" in their fleet.Trams, not fire engines.

Stuart.

While I find the "Green Goddesses" Butt Ugly, I find the Lagonda drop head {lower down in the same article} drop dead gorgeous! The Jay Leno video on his Lagonda was great! The sound that v12 makes on acceleration ... well .... OMG! Would I ever love to give that engine a test run!

Great truck... I'm not sure I could afford the fuel to take it any where...
Looks like it would be a "gas" :hammer: to drive though..

Also saw the article on the 2CV for sale at $9000.00, but I have never witnessed
one for sale for that price. They seem to go for around $15,000.00 or more.
I could afford the fuel for that one......

The thing to do is to go over to europe and get one there, ship it back..... Much cheaper! Same as with a classic Mini, as well.

I have some more piccys of that Lagonda, by the way... Just in case anyone wants to see 'em??

And a DB 2/4!?! Egad.

We tied into a 2/4 drophead about a decade ago. Came to us in literal bushel-baskets of unsorted bits-n-pieces. An automotive jigsaw puzzle. Made it into a turn-key car...
No idea where all that patience came from, certainly wouldn't volunteer to do THAT again. :smirk:

I never knew that Bedford was owned by GM. I did know that they used some GM parts, like the cabs on their older trucks. PJ

They parallel Holden in Oz, Paul.

Learn something new every day! Last time I saw a Bedford was in the movie "Out of Africa". For some reason, I liked that movie, I guess because I like Brian Dennehy and Brook Adams. PJ
