My New Favorite Commercial

Yes....ain't "the music" great!

Love the way the car "morphs" into newer models.

Ya I really enjoy that one too. My wife works for Wieden and Kennedy the advertising agency who created that commercial. Their London office has the Honda of Europe account were they do some great work.

Here's the first Honda commercial that really created some buzz. It was produce with no computer enhancement, just as you see it. The final cut was done in one take, shot with multiple cameras . They did spend a few days setting everything up though.

pretty great - and I know it was one take - though I seem to remember the one was about the 650th take

I love it, reminds me of a beer dispensing machine one of the mechanical engineers designed in our frat back in my collage days.

It never delivered though!

That's easy, counter weights inside the wheels. Notice they only make at most near a half rotation. The German group that put that commercial together have done several large scale Kinetic Sculptures. Some have taken over an hour to complete the cycle once they start. Its all balance, counter-balance etc... No digital trickery.
