We happened to stop at a close friend's home to show them our new XKE, they have had British cars including a lovely FHC.
As we were standing there talking the storm blew up the valley, and my friend grabbed her camera and started shooting.
Before the storm appeared, I thought this was a great place to take photos of a red car.
Do you mean real gold? real gold is very very good a disapating heat. The Mclaren F1's engine bay and the bottom of Michael Schumacher's F1 seat are lined with gold for that reason.
