My new 55 Healey 100 project

Well, Sunday morning I'm picking up a 55 Healey 100 (my inheritance due to dad's failing health). It's a complete project, as the car is stripped to the chassis and it's in primer. All the major rust has been replaced with panels. Engine has been rebuilt. The transmission was rebuilt by Fourintune. The car comes with quite a few spares as there was a second parts car along the way that joined up with this one.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the near future.

Has anyone done a conversion from LHD to RHD on these? What's needed to make the change besides the dash and maybe gas pedal? Just thinking that since the 67 Cooper S is RHD why not the Healey.

Looking forward to being part of this forum in the future.

Hi David,
An interesting project! You live in the United States and intend to convert a "left-hooker" to right hand steer?
This conversion is frequently done here in Australia as quite a few Healeys have been imported from the USA.
Contact The Healey Factory at: https://www.healeyfactory.com.au
Good luck with the project.

David, I might stop by Sunday morning if you need help. I'm only 2 miles away, as the cranes fly.

A twisty 4 miles in the Mini. ;-)
