...as long as 2 of them are Spridgets! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Finished working for the day and decided to see if they'd all fit. Sure enough, the Tunebug, Midget, my wife's truck, and my bike all fit in just fine. This should work until I get the MG stripped and sold off. My wife gave me a classic "long suffering wife" look when I showed her, but at least now I can keep the MG out of the rain.

And there is the main reason I originally switched to LBCs from monster US tanks in the first place.
Nice packing job

I like the brickwork - got any other photos of the garage?

Looks like my parking arrangement....Cept I've got a pillar dividing the two garage doors.I can get two MGA's, the Jag, and the TC across the back wall.

I see expansion possibilities.

There is room on the other side of that window (wall next to the Tunebug) to add another bay, but it would be spendy. I'll probably put up a carport on the side as it is fairly cheap, and there is already a nice concrete pad over there. That would get my daily driver out of the weather, which would be nice. This garage has lots of storage, and has good extra depth and width. I'll put in a better work bench some day, but having some pegboard for my tools has really been nice. It was definitely a plus for me when we bought this house last year.

No more inside shots really, but here's an outside shot from last year.

To the left (off camera) the driveway pad continues next to the house. I could stash maybe 4 or 5 Spridgets out there.

Isn't the yellow midget an RWA? You're parting it out? Is it that bad?

There's been much discussion on that RWA on the Spridgets board. It is a RWA, and the body is really in good shape. I bought it cheap for the engine, as a mostly disassembled project. The PO put it together from a pair of cars, and never got around to finishing it. I wanted the engine and transmission for my Bugeye. Might take the disc brakes and 3.9 rear end as well, depending.

Aren't that many options close to here for parts, so when this came up I jumped at it. Utah is pretty remote, and shipping in or driving out to pick stuff up gets expensive quickly. That tub will make someone's restoration easier, I'm sure.

I think you're on the right track, Drew. Someone will take the RWA happily.

Drew,

Thanks a lot!
If you would have gotten the Midget in July,I could have hauled it back in August - I was there with the Suburban,&
an empty car trailer).
I guess that timing's everything.

- Doug

So... the midget is shielding the tunebug from door dings?

If you had some of thoses wheel scooter things you could move the yellow one around easly, think I saw them cheep at Harbor Freight.

I'm considering getting a set of those wheel thingies before winter. It will make moving the Tunebug around quite a bit easier.

Sorry about that, Doug. Didn't know I wanted it back in July, though it was for sale. Timing is always the issue. You're welcome to come back out and get it in a few months when I am done with it, though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I did put a towel over the Midget door to protect it a bit from door dings. Don't want it to be the sacrificial car--though you noticed correctly that the Tunebug is on the safe side of the garage. I'm --very-- careful getting into the truck.

I love that shot, Doc. Gotta love our bitty little cars...

Drew, get a sheet of that blue styrofoam(if theres a construcion site in your area, cruise through and you'll probably find one lying around)Then just hang it from the ceiling vertically up against the door of the midget.....That way when SWMBO swings open the truck door it'll dent the foam only.

Good thought on the foam. I'll have to hunt around the area--lots of construction near me.

I have found that Pool Noodles are great bumb protectors. Just tie em so you can hang a set across the car. Kinda like you would do fenders on a boat.

Jack is that bump or bum protectors ? hahaha

Gesh, bump. Hang em like half way down the side length wise like boat fenders.
