The best packing job for old cars I've ever seen (wish I had photographed it) was in Ontario... (left to right) 1950 Riley RMD Drophead, not exactly a "little" British car... an MGB... And a Jaguar fixed head coupe (either XK120, XK140 or XK150 I forget exactly), and there was hardly a inch to spare, and two of the three cars were in mint condition... Some of you guys from Ontario may guess who I'm talking about
 
A 4-post lift will never fit in there with all three cars, unless there's more room than it appears. A single post lift would be the only option for lifting a third car, assuming the peak is high enough.
 
No height for a lift, so we'll be adding an out building if all goes well. Given that one of my neighbors is building a huge barn, I figure I'll be fine with my plans for a modest shed. Helps that a good friend of mine is a surveyor and can assist me with deciphering the zoning laws.
 
72 x 24. Then my one car attached garage is the hand tool/ wood shop. Then a 24 x 12 "tool shed", then a 12 by 24 wood shed full of... geez, I forget what...
