Picked up the rebuild today. It's in the back of the suburban and I am just ancy to get started. I can't believe its only Wednesday and now I have to wait until Saturday before I can get to it. I am looking at driving in two to three weeks. Where is SPRING? Top down, 70 degrees and sunshine here I come....
How many ladies can claim they got a car that didn't run for their birthday, a motor that needed rebuilding for their anniversary, steering wheel and shift knobs for Christmas, and now....a rebuilt motor for Valentine's day!!!! Maybe I'll be driving it for my next birthday!!!!
I'll post pics of the install. Stay tuned.

Great news, Terri! Now get it done, and bring it down to New Orleans next month - gonna be a great show, and I'm planning a drive up River Rd. to check out some antebellum homes and down some serious shrimp/crawfish/oyster poboys!

Herself gets those kinds of 'gifts' regularly. She got a set of "MG" logo ear-rings this past b'day... I got lazy. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Valentine's Day is a non-celebratory day for us. We lost our dearest feline family member on the day a number of years back. Hasn't been the same since.

Congrats, Terri. Have fun getting it all back in to the car.
