My La-Z-Boy rocker broke

Yep, my venerable 20-year-old leather La-Z-Boy rocker/recliner broke after all these years. Well, it was the second time. La-Z-Boy repaired the wooden rocker (lifetime warranty) assembly a few years ago. Darn if it didn't break again. The two wooden dowel pins came unglued and broke off. Sooo, I clamped the rocker plate back to the frame, drilled it and placed 2 GRADE 8 bolts through the frame and rocker.

Ya think it will hold this time?

That's an UPGRADE!!

Well, you got it fixed so you are not a La-Z-Boy

Have you been on the scale lately? You know - girth, etc.

You know, if you put in some firmer springs it might corner better too!

Rest-O-mod?

Doesn't EVERYBODY have safety wire pliers?!?!

I do. Even use them now and then.

Gesh, I even have a pair of those.
