My friend Gene's Bugeye had bad bump-steer . Gene assumed that it was just worn front end parts , but when after rebuilding the front end the bump-steer was still there .
We started looking at the settings , we redid the toe-in and that helped some . According to the book the castor and camber were not adjustable , but when we checked the camber side to side we found that the drivers side ( US model ) was twice the camber of the passengers side ( about 3 degrees to 1&1/2 degrees ) . Just to see what happened we made up some 1/16" steel plates to fit under the shock .
Well, the end result is that with one plate under the drivers side shock, now both sides match .
The bump-steer seems to be gone .
I don't know if this will work for you , but I hope it helps .
