My engine numbers

Threads from long gone by asked me to check my engine
numbers to verify whether my block is the original from
the factory.

I noticed these numbers scratched/etched onto the block's
edge. Thought it would be of interest to show and hear
comments.

My car is a 1974 TR6 built in April.

and another

I believe these numbers are: CF 20655 UF

Sounds about right for a '74 TR6 engine...although I'll wager the last letter is "E" and not "F" (E for engine, the previous U being for US-spec.).
