....rejected my shaft. I took a shaft, new U -joints and yokes to my drive line guy in Knoxville today. He reject my shaft (has a dent). Told me to come back went I had something he could work with. I had a second one with a chunk out of the yoke (he didn't care much for that one either). Looking on eBay. There's a guy in Knoxville with a used British car parts place. Will check with him tomorrow. Anyone on the forum have a dent-less spare?

If you don't have any luck finding another one, I can suggest the guy who did my MGB conversion drive shaft from scratch. Did a super job using just my yokes (MG on rear/GM on front). Dave's Drive Shaft on Elm Hill Pike.

Thanks for the lead. I know exactly where he is on Elm Hill. Always looking for an excuse for a road trip to Nashville.

Dent? How bad could it be? I don't see where it would be a problem. Balanced is balanced as long as it isn't bent.

Yep, same as. Is one is for the 1966 Sprite but still same as.

But different than a spitfidget.

Any decent driveline shop has tubing stock and can build you a driveshaft with new tubing and your ends. If your guy can't do it, go where the 4WD guys go.

Good advice. There's a place down here that all they need is an old on to look at and they can build you a whole new shaft.
