My Dads BugEye

Wow. Very nice work there, lots to be proud of. That Bugeye will be a screamer for sure!
 
Its a bueatiful machine. Did you lighten the flywheel? I can garentee it'll be fun to drive.
 
Carpet! Man, some people have too clean of work areas!!
I always thought how nice it would be to put in one of those painted/rubberized floors. Then I remembered.... I have a British car now! I think the floor would look nice for about, well until I pulled the car back into the garage. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Although it doesn't leak right now after the rebuild..... ????????
 
Not to hijack this thread...but...

On the picture of the engine there's what looks to be a stainless steel woven hose going from the oil filter into the oil-pressure bypass valve. How do you know what type of fittings to order? Those not only look good, but I've heard they're bullet-proof (Not cheap either.)
