Real nice one there...

It was a rust bucket. Stripped VIA Sand blasting DA Wire wheel. The color is Iris Blue a factory Healey Sprite blue.

Looks like that thing will shift when it's all bolted together! Cracking job so far, love the colour

Thanks Guys, The motor is a 1310cc w/ aluminum head and as you can see from the pics it will be supercharged. We scored some cool "period" MAG Products wheels for the car too.

Aha! Another supercharged A series.

They make for a fun car.

Looks like it is being done "right"

Beautiful! Saw the first shot an' thought: "HooBoi! THIS oughta be good."

The BEST photo is the engine sittin' on th' bench, alloy head all sweet and that BLUE TAPE "Oldtimers' Disease" ameliorator remindin' there ain't a pilot bush inna crank! Priceless! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Keep 'em comin'!

Tell your Dad he is too old to be messin' with that super charger and have him send it on to me. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

I saw the same thing and thought omg, love the blue tape, true to the point Doc, couldn't get any more realistic.

Dad is a real craftsman. Pay close attention.

Looks like the cowling top front plate and battery tray have been replaced with flat metal plate. Certainly all four foot-well side panels, and probably front foot-well lower panels also. Cool pedal box for the brake divider. It looks like a lightened steel flywheel. Can't see the calipers, but they don't look like factory Sprite units. Interesting brake line routing. Front chassis horns look modified somehow, maybe for the bonnet. I can see front hinges, suport bar mounted to the rear bonnet opening top and sides. Must be a glass bonnet. That appears to be a screw type (vs Roots type) compressor from the end inlet and outer shape.

Very well done so far.

Correct, The "firewall" has been "smoothed". The modified frame horns are indeed for a tilt foward fiberglass bonnet. We are running a Tilton pedal box and it is the Screw type charger from Moss. More pics soon.

No one commented, Look they are working on carpet. Gesh.

Doesn't everyone work on carpet?
