My counselor told me...

that the first step to recovery is admitting I have a problem so…

Hi,

My name is Jon

And I’m addicted to foreign cars…

More precisely… I’m addicted to small European 2-seat convertibles from the 60’s and 70’s.

Meet the latest fix for my addiction.

A 1970 Triumph Spitfire MK3

I'm told the wheel covers are form a '69 though.

Ah, yes, and how long have you been obsessive?

But don't worry, and welcome to the asylum..... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Welcome...interesting side pipe - do you have one on the other side?

Holy Pipes!...Welcome to the club.

Yes, there are pipes on both sides. Here is a picture of the 124, and the TR4 is at the beginning stages of a looooong term restoration process. Long because I keep getting side tracked on other things.

Oh yea, I also have a '78 Fiat X1/9 that I bought to part out but have since put it on eBay. Thought it could make a nice project car for someone.

Your counselor is partly correct. What you didn't get told was-- there is no known cure for this.Just keep posting here and vent,it won't cure you but you will feel better.

Welcome to British Car Forum!

We have a great, 12-step program here for your addiction.

Step One: Buy an MG
Step Two: Buy an Austin Healey
Step Three: Buy a Sunbeam
Step Four: Buy a Morgan

etc., etc.

...you get the idea! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

That's the extact kind of 12 step program my wife is afraid I have gotten into.
