My cheap attempt to sell something on BCF....

My plans are to attend the VTR convention on the 19-22 of July and will trail my little baby up there. Airconditioning is more appealing at this time of year than the thrill of motoring long distances. At any rate, the Red River Triumph Club is hosting the convention and part of the show will be a silent auction for things anyone can bring up. 25% of the proceeds will go to the club. I have the complete tranny/A-type overdrive from that "free TR3" that Quantum Mechanics failed to follow through on. No worries, but this might be a good chance to auction it off to interested Triumph enthusiats, make a buck and help a club. The only issue is I feel the unrestored unit might be worth at least $400 and I would hate to give it up for nothing. I guess a reasonable reserve would be in order. Anyone attending that might be interested? Be nice to be able to get my hotel room paid for. How's that for being cheap?

If it were a bolt on for my TR6, you would have your hotel bill paid and not even have to transport it to TX.

I am interested. Call me Tuesday(4th) or Wednesday or later if you prefer. 301 770 5247 At least you wouldn't have to haul it to Texas.

Thanks,

Jesse
