After 3 long years and a complete frame off restoration, my car will soon be back on the road ! I have done all work, engine , trans., OD, and rear myself. Did all restoration except final panel fit and paint. That was done by my cousin, who is a award winning body and paint guy. Thanks to all members on here that gave me advice and pointers along the way ! Quick:tennis:

Really does look great! :encouragement:
:D Are you going to leave the steel wheels on the car? Or replace with wire wheels?
Don't know if you thought about it, but you might consider adding LED lights to the panel (gauge) lighting and maybe floor lights. I just wrote a Austin Healey Technical article on doing just that on my BJ7 model. It's listed on the BCF under Austin Healey members articles, technical.

Hey Bob,
Congrats, it is beautiful ! Like Rick said, now will be the fun part as you get to finally drive the old gal around. Probably be like all of us as you start to take her back out on the road, drive it a few miles first time, more miles the next time, and eventually be comfortable taking her out on a an actual trip somewhere. Enjoy and know you can't wait for Spring to arrive up in PA !
Regards,
Mike

I am almost exactly 1 year ahead of you; i.e., I was able to start driving my BT7 early last spring after a 5 year off-frame restoration. If you're like me, it will take a few shake-down drives to get all the kinks out, but that's the fun part. Enjoy, and post more pictures and updates as you finish things off and start driving.

Time to change the avatar ;-)
Looks great, I would keep the steel wheels

Outstanding panel/door fit and paint. I believe the lower lip under the rear shroud--where it's attached to the boot pan--was brush-painted a flat black at the factory (if you want to be concours correct).

Looking great, Bob! I recall that when I was at that stage I was scared to death to touch the car for fear of scratching the paint.) Fortunately, you will get over it!

Looks great!!.... fun time in the rebuild... the vision you had all those years ago starts to be come a reality!!

Congratulations!
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Guys ! I have mini-lites for on it. Have to finish the interior yet. Short test drives to work out the bugs. Will be fun to take on some drives this spring !

Hey, looks great, but I can't see the parts I did!

... lol ;)

Quick's & Healey Blue's pistons comingling...
