Although a Dylan song, I always associate it with The Byrds… so it was nice to see Roger McGuinn lead-off all those greats.

Yep... and sad that Harrison and Petty are gone.

Listening tho this group right now:

As usual, I'm dense. What are Youtube backpages?

All I could find were Youtube videos about the Backpage website - not for the faint of heart!

Legends will be dropping like flies very soon:

Behold the killing fields that lie before us: Bob Dylan (78 years old); Paul McCartney (77); Paul Simon (77) and Art Garfunkel (77); Carole King (77); Brian Wilson (77); Mick Jagger (76) and Keith Richards (75); Joni Mitchell (75); Jimmy Page (75) and Robert Plant (71); Ray Davies (75); Roger Daltrey (75) and Pete Townshend (74); Roger Waters (75) and David Gilmour (73); Rod Stewart (74); Eric Clapton (74); Debbie Harry (74); Neil Young (73); Van Morrison (73); Bryan Ferry (73); Elton John (72); Don Henley (72); James Taylor (71); Jackson Browne (70); Billy Joel (70); and Bruce Springsteen (69, but turning 70 next month).

Yea, but 100 years from now keith Richards will still be here, he's not really human afterall...
But more serious, the 70s now isn't what it was a generation or two ago. Most of those folks aren't quite retirement home ready yet.

Backpages= memories to me. That video sent me to youtube where I watched and listened to favorites of years back.

Thanks. That what I've been doing with YouTube since YouTube was invented!

and behold - on this very day a PSI from Rod Stewart - probably more relevant to this distinguished company than many other forums.

Who are all these youngsters?
I'm missing my ukulele meetup tonight at the Horseshoe Bar due to a fierce cold. I tried to cure it by going fishing off the local pier. I caught 27 fish, all between 3" and 7". 24 Porgies and 3 tiny Black Sea Bass. All went back in the drink. My ribs hurt from coughing. At least I finished the front bumper of the Honda. You would not hire me as a body man but at least its all white now. I'll post closeups tomorrow.

Are you still "down here"?

Fishing in CT would seem to be... umm... unrewarding?

As in: "Where's LUNCH?!?" :smirk:
