Got that right

I talked with guys who had sold on BaT "You'll get way more active interest with no reserve - yours will go for well over $10K" This was supposed to pay my grandson's first year at college. I had it appraised by a CT classic car guy.

I actually had a reserve figure when I started working with BaT on the auction. .

Time will tell.

I hope it goes to an enthusiast who sees what a jewel it is.

Good luck, Tom!

6 hours to go! Good luck. I posted that you need to add a picnic basket  (because that is what I would use it for - go apple picking, etc.!)

Only $3800 with three hours to go.
I hope there is a sniper fairy out there.

$6200 final bid.
If I had a garage I would have gone much higher.

Thanks gents. This didn't even reach the reserve I originally planned to use. Grandson's first year of college may have to wait.

oh well ...

Sorry to hear that. Not the best time of year to be selling.
That's why you want to put a reserve when you sell.

On a slightly less dismal note ...

My Morris was first sold in New Zealand, an island.

It then went to Monhegan, an island off the coast of Maine.

It's now going to an island off the coast of Massachusetts - Martha's Vineyard.

May the circle be unbroken!

Sorry to hear that it had such a dismal sale and even more sorry to hear that BaT talked you out of having a reserve.

Sorry the price wasn’t what you hoped, that’s a lovely little car. Hope it has a good time on its new island.

Sorry for the lower price sell Tom. Sounds like it's going to an area where it will be well taken care of though.

Winnie, on the way to its new home at the Vineyard.

Fun while it lasted!

glad it is going to a good home but, not a great time to be selling - everywhere I read I read of the market softening.
