Never saw this type of cab before but saw lots of them in the Hartford (Conn) area on Thursday on the way to Thompson Speedway.

Apparently they are designed for wheelchairs but can also be used as regular cabs.

They use a Ford V8.

Puts me in mind of an up-to-date Checker Marathon. Looks as if it could be as well built, too.
 
Lawton has one, they are just as ugly in white and red.
