Musty carpet smell remover

Need a little help here. I am trying to sell my minivan, but the carpet has a musty smell to it. I have tried to clean it, but just made it worse. I have tried sprays, I even asked a local used car dealer what they use. He said they use a product called "OdoBan". It can be found at Sams Club. Well, I tried this and now it smells like musty cleaner. I don't want to mask the smell with something else, but I'm kinda at a loss right now. Any tricks of the trade out there?

Yeah! Go to a good pet store and get "Natures Miracle" guranteeeed to remove the odor of a skunk!! Well thats what they say!

Use good ventilation with it---Keoke

baking soda - plain ol' baking soda

Sprinkle/rub it into the carpet, wait 30 minutes, then vacuum it out.

It works - and doesn't leave a "different" smell.

By the way, if there's mold in the carpet or padding underneath, you may have to do "something drastic".

I've used Nature's Miracle before and it works great. I haven't tried it for the "old musty car" smell but everything I've tried it on so far was with good results, especially animal smells.
