yup.... the wifeys laptop is again infected. Fortunately this time we easily got all the unsaved files transferred. so now I gotta wipe it out and start over again. there's at least one evening shot.
it's one of those stupid anti-virus viruses. I really hate those things. first thing they do is knock out all your legit anti-virus programs. Then you're stuck.
 
Yep, I got a bug too....my virus program keeps popping up telling me it has blocked access for something. I've run my virus scan, I've run Spybot S&D everything says I'm clean..then
"POP" the virus scan appears telling me it's blocking something. ARRRGH! I hate these things.
 
Yep, cleaned 4 since last Friday.
 
Knock on stainless-steel... Been ages since I've had one (and I think that was self inflicted).
 
I've seen an uptick in the same infection here.

ugh... I think it needs to be wiped clean.... Whatever this one is, it's affected almost every program and it will not connect to the web, even in safe mode. Gonna have the wifey double check that she's got all her info, then it's reformat time!
