Multi Ferrari Pile-up

Every Day work cars I assume? :nopity:

Ummmm...that'll buff out???

I'm the Prius - my back hurts... Hmmm, who do I sue, Ferrari? Mercedes? Etc?

Of course it could have been the fault of the Prius but somehow I doubt that.

Actually, it was somewhat the Prius's fault.

Seems the Prius was doing 10 under the speed limit in the outside lane.

Ferrari group doing something more than the speed limit  comes around corner and sees slow Prius in his lane. Lead Ferrari tries to change lanes and brake and lost the car on the wet pavement....the remaining cars, following too closely for conditions, follow suit.

Certainly the Prius owner is far from the total cause. But he is far from completely innocent either.

This group was heading to a car show in Hiroshima. While they were driving past the legal limit, they were not doing 180 MPH either. Again, no excuses here, it is just the perception can get twisted pretty fast on the internet.

I rant becuase slow cars in the outside lane while the driver is yapping on their cell phone is a pet peeve of mine.

The nose-to-tail at 90 was stupid, as was the 'green' lump travelling in the fast lane at less-than limit.

Two wrongs. LOTS of bent up sheetmetal and fiber panels is the result.

I imagine the lads in Modena are between anguish and amusement over this.

Yup. "Two wrongs" is exactly the right comment here.

I can see it happening though. We have all been in the group rides to a car show and keeping the cool cars grouped together is an important part of the drive. Tuck in a little closer.....

At least no one was seriously injured.

That story's everywhere. It was in the local paper today,
but also had the story behind it incorrect.

Gotta defend the brotherhood.

Would have done the same if it was a a gaggle Triumphs as well.....so would you

Yeah but Triumphs can't speed. Or are you comparing to the Prius - 10mph too slow in the fast lane?

heard this on the radio yesterday, and thought it was crazy sounding... Unfortunately, the radio station didn't say it was in Japan (if they didn't i don't recall them saying it). I'm amazed no one was seriously injured, even with one of the Ferraris looking like it'll never drive again.

You mean a newspaper had a story wrong? Say it aint so! hahahahaha

Yeah - the first time that's ever happened since 1854.
I know the publisher - I'll have to ask him about that
BTW - he drives a RB MG,but I still talk to him in public.
