I hate it when someone paints a Union Jack on top of their vehicle and gets it wrong. I am sure the Brits do too.
Compare the spacing on the radiating bars.

:iagree: Bill. I think it is as simple as a lack of understanding of the origins of the Union Jack! Once someone understands how each of the three flags making it up are configured, overlaying them together should always be correct!! BTW perhaps one of our Welsh bretheren can explain why the flag of St. David was never incorporated into the design...is it just that the colours are too different? (I think I knew the answer at one time, but my brain is getting too fuzzy in old age! )

PS Cliff, as usual thank you for the beautiful pictures!!!

Poor boy... :smirk: Up here in hinterland the most popular "classic" cars seem to be hot rods or muscle cars... Which frankly make me yawn most of the time...

Was that a real Kurtis 500? Wow!

And that red roadster... A Kaiser-Darrin?

What model is the red and black morgan coupe next to your mini? never seen one of those before - Lovely lines.
