and got a lovely new smile.

Lookin' bespoke, JP!!!

Very classy.

That's TRULY the SAME car???

WOW....talk about ugly duckling to swan!! And really like the single off center driving light! My Mini has a similar set up. I was going to go to a pair but think I will keep it as is now!

Very classy INDEED!

Very nice indeed!

Lovely, just plain lovely.

Different subject, I see the rags on the jackstands. Did you know that harbor freight makes and sells caps of soft stuff for the tops of your jack stands for cheep of course, I attest to them. They work better than great.

I bet they weren't as cheap as the rags.

Makes me want to buy a cheap rubber bumper midget and follow in your footsteps. Truly excellent work. Well executed plan! It is going to be a fun summer for you!

Looks really nice!!! Anytime a face-lift can be done to get rid of all that extra rubber flab is a good day!!! You've got to find some nice classic wheels to complete the look!

You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush that grill with Pepsodent!

Beauty!

Really looks good. Better than implants. So, what's the history, tradition, function of the one fog light?

the history is that when I was having the body done, I had my guy get rid of the reverse lights as I have never particularly liked them - too much like an afterthought to me. (I then mounted a motorcycle signal light under the bumper for my reverse light) Anyway, he gave me the light for the rear - it was too big for that, so, instead I decided to use it as a driving light. Don't know that there is any tradition or specific function to just one except that I have always liked the look and it's a little different. it's also balanced by the grille badge. (and I guess one reverse light in the rear) the light itself is probably from the late 50's early 60's - the chrome was still great and it is made by the Dominion Light Company here in Canada - which makes it interesting too.

My entire vision for the car is that it look something that Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn could have driven in Roman Holiday (and yes I know it came out in 1953 but you get the idea) So far I feel like I'm on track
