Never thought I'd see the day.

The effects of the weekend nor'easter are much worse than the hurricane that hit us in late August. Still over 500,000 households without electricity after four days.

Friends clear down/over in Allentown were hit with 18 hour power outtage. Crazy!

Here are a few photos from our neighborhood on Monday morning after the clean up had started. 6 to 10 inches of wet snow is normally not a problem, but when the trees still have leaves, branches start to drop. We were lucky, and with the few smaller young trees that were leaning I shook off the snow during the storm on Saturday.

On the subject of MRE's, yum! Got my hands on a case <span style="font-style: italic">apres le deluge</span> (Katrina), high in fat, not bad.
