I've a fair assortment of valve shims, so when you're feelin' froggy and start playin' under the cam cover keep it in mind.
 
I'll keep that in mind... Right now she's running great though.
 
Have you started it this AM? I'm wonderin' about the "noise" you mentioned on startup.
 
Nah, I drove the MGB to work thismorning. Tony said the wipers don't work... and it's still raining. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

If it's not raining tomorrow, I'll drive it to work then. I'll be listening for that noise. I'm afraid it could be the waterpump bearing though. It was intermittent when the engine was cold, but 99% of the drive back yesterday it didn't make a sound.
 
Hmm. That screwdriver would be handy for isolating the source, y'see.
